The weaning saga continues...kind of.

The little girl has the snots. How do I feel about that? Poopy that's how. Why? B/c she's never really had the snots. Why? Well, I think it's because she was recently weaned. She had extra protection, AND SO DID I, b/c of our nursing relationship.

I just wanted to post b/c if you're a mom with a nursing toddler or preschooler you've got me in your corner. Heck if you are nursing an any age kid I'm in your corner. Heck if you even think about nursing the kid you don't have yet I'm in your corner.

Just saying.

Do you think the doctor knows everything?

If you do you might be crazy.

You might be crazy if: You take a doctors' word for everything and never ask WHY.
You might be crazy if: The doctor says to take this or that med and you don't ask ANY questions about it.
You might be crazy if: You don't bring up questions or concerns when you see your doctor.
You might be crazy if: You don't demand excellent care.
You might be crazy if: You don't go in there with a pad of paper and a pen to write down stuff in case you forget or to keep a record.

I have issues with some doctors. Make yours do what they're supposed to. DON'T let them write you off as a wackjob or some paranoid freak. If it weren't for you they wouldn't have a job.

You know that feeling...

in the pit of your stomach you get when you're in love with someone? You hear their voice or smell their smell and you're stomach does flip flops? You are near them and your heart races? Your body reacts to them as if they're a drug?

The same thing happens...

Yeah I do. Sorry to those of you who are offended by that. Thanks to those of you who are patting me on the head and sobbing with me.

Seriously though Barbie movies are better than some other princess chick type movies. At least the Barbies can be ninjas and warriors or something. They don't just sit and whine.

Really though, I had a point. Now it's gone from my mind. Maybe it'll return. When it does I'll share. Maybe.

It's wierd

how some people can make you super duper happy just by BEING and some people get on your damn nerves for the same reason.

The people in my life who just live and make me happy ought to know who they are. I'm lucky enough to have a few friends and family that I choose to love and spend time on trying to help them.

Then there are the others.

Please stop breathing and spare the rest of us your drama.

It's really hard...

to change yourself. I have a lot to change mostly I need to figure out how to live my life without feeling overwhelmed by everything. Even simple things throw me off. If I don't know what's going to happen I get all hot and sweaty. You know that first day of school or first game of the season type of sweaty? That's me...all too often.

It's a thing with a lot of people I think. No one likes to admit it. Most people I know walk around like they're in total control of their lives. Big fat liars. They lie worse than I do.

Lie to yourself lie to your friends lie to your family. Really just tell yourself the truth. Sooner or later it'll eat you alive then you'll be falling. Like Alice into that rabbit hole. Only I'm not so sure the bottom has anything worth seeing in it.

Cut that crap out.

And watch out for rabbit holes.

So I know this chick...

and she's pretty fabulous. When crappy stuff happens she always seems to pick herself up by the scruff of her neck, which might sound weird but it's true, and find a way thru it. She's my hero. I'm lucky to have her in my life.

Really a lot of chicks I know are slightly pathetic. it's like they can't do things themselves. it's not attractive to be that needy. It's not cool to not even be able to tie your own damn shoes. Ok maybe that was stretching it a bit but still. Grow a pair geez.

That's my commentary for the early afternoon.

b/c somehow I got lost. I think I made a deal with my evil doppleganger and we switched places or something. NO more of that crap. I know she needs to be weaned off the greatness that is my life, HA, so slowly I'll be back. It'd be rude to kick her out with no support.
